Our history

Alpha Resources Trading was founded in London’s fashionable Knightsbridge in 2010 by serial entrepreneur Dario Campbell.

Dario’s early vision was to create a lifestyle service business primarily focussing on precious metals.

Alpha Resources Trading has over a number of years developed key working relationships with mining families from the African continent.

Key areas of supply for Gold, Copper, and Iron Ore metals come from the DRC, Zambia, Ghana and Nigeria

Dario’s working relationship with the mining companies on the ground has ensured Alpha Resources Trading are in a position to offer clients the best quality in supply of metals and pricing is market leading across the region

Alpha Resources Trading new focus is the GCC region and a second office was sourced and a local presence in Dubai is now open for business

The Dubai outpost was opened in 2020 during which existing and new clients continued to purchase precious metals on a long term contracted format

Dario’s key focus is to ensure clients new and existing are treated as family and discretion is always respected from all affiliates of Alpha Resources Trading

Dario Campbell CHAIRMAN

Dario Campbell is a serial entrepreneur having launched ART in 2010 in the UK to critical acclaim from a loyal client following.

Dario's clients have been served well within the precious metals sector for over 20 years

Dario's key to success to date has been built on his ability to build solid relationships with mining specialists primarily focussing on Gold in various forms.

Dario's entrepreneurial vision set out in 2022 a new presence within the Gulf region and a new office hub was opened in Dubai UAE.

Through many years of continued client support he has served various markets CEO'S, Wealth management firms, commodity trading offices and Celebrities across the globe.

Dario's business ethos is considered a family office and as such existing and new clients are treated as family.

Simon Hands Chief Executive Officer

Simon started his hospitality career at the 3* Michelin starred restaurant Le Gavroche in Mayfair London UK under the acclaimed Albert Roux

Following on from his successful training, Simon was part of the opening team that launched the French bakery brand Paul within the UK.

The project scope of works entailed site sourcing fund raising via a VC fund and design build and develop under the brand guidelines.

Ping Pong Dim Sum was Simon’s next brand roll out challenge, taking the restaurant group to international growth in Dubai, Brazil and the US.

Phoenicia Beirut Lebanon was his defining career achievement, having rebranded various F&B Outlets for the 5* luxury hotel property. Eau De Vie restaurant and the Amethyste Lounge was a successful addition to the Beirut social scene.

The Beirut projects required critical path management to adhere to strict financial and building agreements

Madison in the heart of the city of London’s roof top hospitality scene was critically acclaimed under Simon’s leadership in 2010.

The project was from inception of fund raising via LDC Capital of London circa £5.5m to design build and launching the brand.

Madello Capital based in London is a private wealth management company with 5 board of directors. Simon’s current role as elected by the board is CEO.

Madello Capital advises HNW clients on property acquisitions across the UK.

The businesses prime focus is delivering above and beyond expected ROI for its clients on an ongoing basis to date.

Jason Ncube International Property Director

Jason has built his stellar reputation in the real estate sector over a number of years sourcing land and residential assets for HNW clients here in Dubai UAE.

Having been mandated by some very high-profile clients Jason has garnered a really close relationship with existing clients in guiding them through the transaction and being real support to clients.

High-value assets have been sourced marketed and sold under his tenure in a discreet manner always ensuring clients’ expectations have been met.

In 2022 Jason hosted a global tour to meet clients and deliver sourced sites for purchase.

This gave ART a real understanding of international markets and cultures of business

During this global property expo, Jason secured deals to the value of circa 22m AED from buyers looking for a real expert in the Dubai property sector.
